Please note that it's Turbox Home and Business, NOT TurboTax Self-Employed.

Let me share some information about exporting QuickBooks Self-Employed tax data to TurboTax Home and Business, cupidchan.

The 2021 TurboTax Business CD/Download software can be imported directly from the QuickBooks 2019-2022 Desktop software.

We'll need to have a QuickBooks Desktop version to import the tax data to TurboTax Home and Business. Just check out this article for more details: How do I import QuickBooks data into TurboTax Business?. Since you are using QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), we'll need to look for a third-party app that can help you transfer the data from QBSE to Turbo Tax Business.

To get your self-employed tax info into TurboTax Self-Employed or TurboTax Live, we can check out this article for more details: Send your tax info to TurboTax Online (Self-Employed or Live)

For some "How do I" steps in QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can always visit our Help Articles page for reference.

Thanks @RCV but the problem is I use QuickBooks Self-Employed ONLINE version and my TurboTax Home and Business is Downloaded version, which you have also pointed out in your reply. Since both Quickbooks and TurboTax are under Intuit, what kind of "third-party app" do I need to transfer the data from QBSE to Turbo Tax Business? I thought this translation should be done seamlessly under the Intuit family...

Hi there, @cupidchan. I understand that it's beneficial to integrate QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Home & Business seamlessly.

While we're unable to suggest a third-party app, I'd recommend exporting your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) data to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Then, from QBO to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). After that, import from QBDT into Turbo Tax Business.

You can use a trial version of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop to help you with the process.

Please let us know if you need further assistance with moving your data to TurboTax. We're always here to assist.
