I’m here to provide instructions so you’ll be able to download transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed , rbakerdadof2-yah.

Before we start, I'd like to verify if there's an error message you've encountered ? This can help us identify what causes the issue and provide you the best solution.

Also, you'll want to check your bank's website first to see if there's a bank maintenance or a notification that needs your attention. Once confirmed that it's working fine, go back to QuickBooks Self Employed and manually update the connection.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click Refresh All.

Alternatively, try signing into your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) using a private browser (incognito). This will help us check if this is a browser-related issue.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, try to connect your bank again to double-check.

If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

I'll be adding this article that tackles manually adding bank transactions to QBSE and avoid duplicate transactions: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed

Check out this article to learn how to find missing transactions downloaded from your online bank and credit card accounts: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions.

Let me know if there's anything that I can assist with resolving your bank connection error, and or anything else. I'm always here to assist. Have a wonderful day!
