Question

I just want to BUY a copy of QuickBooks Pro 2024. Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?

My wife has QuickBooks Pro 2018.  It's installed on her computer and requires no online connection, no annual subscription, no nothing. She paid something like $249 for it back in the day, and OWNS it.

 

I've been trying to get for her the newest version of QuickBooks Pro, which I think is QuickBooks Pro 2024 based upon my research, but I cannot find a place to just BUY it.  I just want to do what we did back in 2018 where we BUY the software, install it, and then OWN it without constant subscription payments.

 

And don't *EVEN* tell me about QuickBooks Online.  Yuck.  $100 a month?  Are you kidding me?!  And it doesn't even DO half the stuff that QuickBooks Pro 2018 did -- and that's SEVEN YEARS OLD now!  No.  QuickBooks Online is garbage, and she will not use it.  She tried it, and she despises it.  Utter junk.  A horrible, HORRIBLE product.

 

Can someone PLEASE just post a link to an INTUIT website -- not some scammy eBay or Amazon 3rd-party seller -- that will allow me to just BUY this software?

    @Laurence5905  You can probably still buy Enterprise, but that and QBO are about it as far as offerings from Intuit themselves.

     

    Within the last year or two, it was decided that only current US customers will be able to purchase most Desktop products going forward. I'm doubtful that a standalone purchase from that far back counts. This is part of their efforts to phase out Desktop one piece at a time.

     

    At best, you might try calling their sales number above and seeing if you get lucky. You should have your QB information handy, account # and all that.

        The problem seems to be that she doesn't currently *SUBSCRIBE* to QuickBooks Pro 2018.  It was a standalone purchase.

         

        So how do we get the salespeople to recognize this and stop transferring her to the Enterprise sales department?  She just wants to purchase another standalone product, not subscribe to anything...

          I too wanted to buy QBD Pro 2024 and this is the official response as of today. (Not being sold.)

          @LNS 

          You don't need QB Payroll, correct? You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA by email directly and if you are lucky you can still find a genuine subscription license of QB Desktop 2024 Pro Plus/Premier Plus/Mac Plus.
