The file I'm importing is correct. I've tried it many ways. File headers, without headers, etc.

Thanks for joining the Community, @mike449. I'm happy to see you here. I'll help you with troubleshooting steps so you can import a file in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Sometimes the cached information in a browser becomes corrupted or overloaded with regularly visited websites, resulting in the inability to import files in QBSE. Let's begin to isolate this issue by signing in to your account in a private window. It allows us to confirm the browser-related problems and doesn't use the existing cache data. The following are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

In there, try importing again. If it works, return to your default browser, then clear the cache and cookies to delete the stored files and browsing history. If not, you can use another supported browser to improve your QBSE experience.

If you want to track and download your transactions in QBSE, visit this article: Export transactions and get reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm always available at any time if you need further help with your files or any QuickBooks-related concerns. Don't hesitate to click the Reply button below or post in the Community again. Take care!
