I'm here to help you locate the account settings in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The Accounts and Settings feature helps you manage your business smoothly. From the homepage, click the Settings⚙ icon and choose Accounts and Settings.
If you need to change the settings:
Select a tab.
Click Edit ✏️ in a section.
Select an item you want to update. Fields will appear when you select an area, and the question mark will tell you what it's for. Make your edits and then select Save.

You can check your settings in QuickBooks Desktop by going to the Edit menu and then Preferences. If you want to review more information about your company file or update a few information, you can press F2 on your keyboard or go through these steps:
Click the Company menu.
Select My Company.
If you want to make changes, you can click the pencil icon in the Company Information field.
