Is there a way to change my business name on QBO? I go to account settings, change it, and hit save, but the changes won't stick. Thoughts?

Let me sort things out for you. We can edit your company info in your payments or payroll accounts when changes don't show after modifying it in the Accounts and Settings section.

To update your business name in your Online Payroll, please follow step 2 in this article: Update your business info in online payroll.

To update business name info for your QuickBooks Payments account, I'll show you how:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Payment account.
2. Choose Account, then select Account Profile.
3. Go to the Account Holder/Business information section.
4. Click Edit, then after making changes, select Save.

However, if you're not using payroll or don't have a payment account, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this.

We can log into your account using a private browser. This method prevents cookies from being stored on your computer. You can use shortcut keys listed below:

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: Command + Option +P

Once you're in, try to edit your Company name, and when it works, we'll need to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to boost browser-related issues.

If the same things happen, we can use other supported browsers. It could be that the one you're currently working on has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.
