I need to reprint a batch of checks.  This one question that would have answered this question has a link that does not work.

Hello there, @uu57_2.

Allow me to join the thread and help reprint pay stubs in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

You can print pay stubs from the File menu or from the paycheck itself. Let me show you how.

To print pay stubs from the file menu:

  1. Go to File at the tab menu bar.
  2. Select Print Forms.
  3. Click on Pay Stubs.
  4. Select your payroll bank account and enter a date range that includes the pay date of the pay stub you want to print.
  5. If you want to filter by one employee, next to Employee select the drop-down menu to choose the employee.
  6. In the column beside the date select the pay stub(s) you want to print.
  7. If you want, select Preview to view the pay stub before you print it.
  8. To select the company and employee information that will be printed on the pay stub, select Preferences.
  9. If you would like to print a global message on each pay stub, enter text in the Company message to be printed on all pay stubs box.
  10. Select Print.

To print a pay stub from a paycheck:

  1. Open the paycheck in QBDT.
  2. Click on the Print icon above the check and select Pay Stub.

Let me know if you have any other concerns about printing pay stubs. I'm always here to help!

Go to Edit menu > Preferences, Checking, Company Preferences tab. Make sure you Do Not Have the checkmark in "Change check date when Non-Cleared check is reprinted."

You don't want Paycheck dates to Change.

The only way to re-print paychecks (or any other type of checks) which currently not marked to print in a batch is to edit each one and mark it to print later.  It may be just as easy to open each one and click print to print it again.

If you really need the paycheck details on paper for some reason, and aren't really trying to create actual checks again, consider printing pay stubs, which you can reprint at any time in a batch based on a date or date range.

Why do the need to be reprinted? If its only incorrect check numbers,  you can simply reassign the numbers in QBD. Or, is it something else?
