QB Desktop 2019 trial download

I want to convert from QBO to QB for Mac. I currently own QB for Mac 2019. I understand I need to use QB Desktop for PC to do the conversion and it has to be version 2019 or earlier. I also understand that QB suggests you use a trial version to do this. But I can't figure out how to download the trial version 2019. How does one go about doing that?

I'll help you in downloading the trial version of QuickBooks Desktop 2019.

You're right. To convert from QuickBooks Online to Mac, we'll have to export the file to QuickBooks Desktop Windows then convert the Windows file to Mac.

Currently, the available trial link on our page is for QuickBooks Desktop 2020. Since you're using the QBDT for Mac 2019, I recommend getting in touch with our phone supports. This way, we'll be able to pull up your contact information and send the download link to you.

Here's how to connect with us:

Open QuickBooks.
Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
Select Contact Us.
Enter "QBDT 2019 trial version link" in the description, then select Continue.

You can also follow the steps below in converting your QBO file (in case you don't have it handy anymore):

Export your data from Online to Desktop.
Open the company file in QuickBooks Desktop for Windows.
Re-sort your lists.
Go to the File menu, then select Utilities and then Copy Company File for QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Save the file in your desired location. This creates a file with the extension MAC.qbb.
Copy the file to a DVD, external hard drive, flash drive, or FTP web site.

Once done, we can now restore the file in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac:

In the No Company Open window, select Browse, then locate the file you want to restore.
If your QuickBooks Windows file is on an external drive, save it locally by dragging it to the desired location before restoring it to avoid data corruption.
Select OK when you get the prompt asking if you want to restore a QuickBooks Desktop for Windows file.
Enter a name for the restored file then select Save.

I gotta say this whole process is a nightmare. After performing 9 separate steps (many of the instructions for these steps involve clicking on a broken link) to create and transfer the .qbb file to my Mac I finally tried to restore the .qbb file with my Desktop for Mac version. It wants me to enter a password for the Admin userid. I don't have an Admin userid nor a password for it. What do I do now?
