Question

quickbooks desktop pro v19 install to new computer

I need to reinstall my QB Desktop pro V19 to a new computer and I have only one license.

I am aware that only One QB can be open at a time.

My question is if I install the software on a new computer with the license information, will this affect my old computer QB software in a negative manner?   Like, will it somehow make it where the old computer QB is unusable?
Thank you in advance!

Hi @AMF-Echo,

I appreciate you reaching out here in the Community regarding the software installation. Let me clarify things about how a single-user license work for QuickBooks Desktop.

If you purchased a single-user license, you can install the software and use it solely by one specific person. One primary computer and one additional computer (e.g., a laptop or a home computer that you own and use in your business) for use by the same person.

As long as no other person is accessing it, your program should work without any issues. You can still use your QuickBooks by entering your registration and licensing information.
