Unable to Install Backup or Accountant Copy in QBD 2014

I have updated the QBD 2014 about 8 times, restarted the computer. At first I tried the Backup file they sent, after a long time I asked for Acct Copy and that gets the same error message, that it was made on a more recent copy. I have updated every which way, not sure what I need to do to access this file. Thank you.
