Hi do we have to edit the chart of accounts to a specific layout in order to use the MTD ITSA Reports from April. Does anyone have a copy of what is to be used?

QuickBooks Online is designed to work with your existing chart of accounts as long as your accounts are properly categorized to meet Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.

There isn’t a predefined template for the chart of accounts, but accurate and consistent classifications will ensure that your reports are compliant. To make sure everything is set up correctly, review your account categories and ensure transactions are assigned appropriately.
