Making Tax Digital QB mapping to HMRC Form Query

Has anyone had a difficulty mapping any of the codes so that they transpose from QB to the HMRC Tax form into the correct boxes?  I would be interested to hear as I have difficulty in filling box 29 on the HMRC form even though I have correctly mapped from the chart of accounts to go into this box.  Would welcome some feedback on this subject.

Hi Helena, to help you correctly map the codes, it's necessary to understand the difference between allowable and disallowable expenses.

The correct account type in the Chart of Accounts, which will be used for Box 29, is Depreciation. See the attached screenshot for visual reference:

Once you've chosen the correct account type, you can then continue submitting VAT returns digitally to HMRC.
