At this time, deleting multiple invoices at once isn't possible in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can manually delete an invoice one at a time. Let me guide you how.
Click Sales on the left menu.
Go to the Invoices tab.
Select the invoice that you want to delete.
Under the Action column, click the drop-down arrow and select Delete.
Click Yes.
Also, I'll pass this along to our product team to let them know of you business needs.
I got this link in case you have other questions about QuickBooks Online (QBO): Sales And Customers.

what about quickbooks enterprise. I tried to do progressive invoicing this year and it just doesn't work so the amounts are all messed up. I'd like to delete and reenter the balances at the end of each month for each job. Is this possible without messing up my reconciliations?
I have several ideas on how to manage those progress invoices, @Carolexx.
Yes, you can delete those progress invoices as long they're still not yet reconciled. If this isn't the case, I recommend consulting your account to prevent messing up your books. Another option is to use our Find-an-Accountant tool to find an expert near your place.
To locate your progress invoices quickly, you can run the Progress Invoices vs. Estimates report. Then, you'll need to open each invoices manually to delete them. Please follow along below to get this done right away:
Go to the Reports menu, and then choose the said report from the Job, Times & Mileage section.
