How do I add the order number on my invoice?

I'll provide details to help you add the order number to your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, after converting your quotes to invoices, you can utilise the custom field to add an order number section on the form. However, please know that this report is exclusive to QBO Essentials and Plus subscriptions. Let me show you how: 

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom fields.
2. Tap the Add field or Add custom field if this is your first time creating one.
3. Enter Order Number in the Name field.
4. Select the All Sales forms.
5. Click Save.

However, if you're subscribed to the Simple Start version, you'll want to upgrade your QBO subscription to utilise the custom field option. Otherwise, you can use the Message on invoice or the item's Description portion.
