Desktop Premier Plus - Customer New Job Issues

Hi! 

I am in 2024 Desktop Premier Plus - Manufacturing and Wholesale. And just last week under my customer center, I have main customers and then I create jobs under them and when doing so it brings in the main information of address, phone numbers etc. and on Thursday last week it started bringing that page in blank. Rebuilt my data file already.

The issue where adding jobs fails to carry over customer details is resolved in the latest QuickBooks Desktop release. To check your current software version, follow these steps:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Press F2 (or Ctrl+1) to open the Product Information window.
  3. Check your current version and release number.

 

If your screen displays a version older than R21_44, run a quick update to resolve this issue.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click the Update Now tab.
  3. Hit Get Updates.
  4. When the update finishes, restart QuickBooks.
  5. Once the download finishes, close and reopen QuickBooks. When the prompt appears asking to install the update, click Install Now.
