How can I send a number of invoices in one email?

While you can't send multiple invoices in just the one email, if you're wanting to send multiple invoices at once you can do so with a batch action:

1. Select the Sales tab, then Invoices.
2. Working down the list, tick the invoices you want to send.
3. Select 'Batch actions', then Send Invoices.
