How do I enter a part payment of invoices and leave the invoice showing the amount owing?

Thanks for posting in the Community! Let me walk you through on how to record part payment of an invoice in QuickBooks Online. 

1. Open the invoice.
2. Select Receive payment.
3. Select Payment date and the bank account on Deposit to.
4. Enter amount received.
5. Select Save and close.

Once you go to customer's profile, you will see the open balance of the customer and the status of the partial paid invoice.
