I can no longer add single time activity to Invoice daily then Issue the Invoice at the end of the week. Any solutions other then not creating the Invoice til sending?

You can still keep your invoices open all week while adding your hours little by little by turning on the automatic pop-up feature in the modern invoice. QuickBooks makes this easy with a simple shortcut. Instead of searching for your recorded hours, a sidebar will automatically appear on your screen to show any unbilled time or expenses.

Here is how to turn that shortcut on:

1. Open any invoice screen and look at the top menu.
2. Click on Manage.
3. Select Suggestions, then click on Suggested transactions.
4. Check the box for Automatically show suggested transactions.

Once it's enabled, the sidebar will pop out with your latest hours every time you open an invoice. From there, you can add them as new line items with just a click.
