I cannot put a custom date into my invoices . It’s changed. Also not physically showing my loss each month when I customise my profit loss

QuickBooks Online recently updated its invoice screen. If you are seeing the Updated Layout, the option to customise the date is turned off.

 

To fix this, at the top of your Invoice page, select Manage> Customisation, then toggle the Invoice Date to turn it on. You will now be able to enter your custom invoice date.

 

In response to your concern about the monthly losses, please note that the bottom row in QBO is always labeled Net Income, even if there is a loss. Instead of the label changing, a net loss will be indicated as a negative value. Alternatively, you can also run a Profit and Loss Comparison Report to evaluate your monthly income and losses side by side.
