I mainly work for the same building company and need to search invoices by the street location not the payee is this possible?

QuickBooks Online doesn’t let you search invoices by street location. As a workaround, you can set up each address as a sub-customer under the building company (parent customer).

Here’s how:

1. Go to All apps, select Customer Hub, then Customers.
2. Click New customer and enter the location as the Customer display name.
3. Tick the Is a sub-customer checkbox, then choose the building company from the Parent customer dropdown.
4. Click Save.

When creating an invoice, select the relevant sub-customer (street address) from the Customer dropdown to tag the invoice to that site. You can then search or filter invoices by sub-customer name for a location-based search.
