Question

In QuickBooks Online, my invoice shows after-tax prices in Rate & Amount, but the preview shows before-tax prices. This started a week ago. No settings changed

Hi there, missmaviscafe3202. The issue with your invoices is related to the incorrect application of sales tax settings called Inclusive of tax " or Exclusive of tax.

To resolve this, try toggling it to 'Exclusive of Tax' and saving, then toggling it back to see if the preview refreshes to match. If the toggle looks correct, the tax setting might be overriding the template preview. For more information, you can check out this article: How do I set up a default tax rate for transactions (Inclusive/Exclusive of GST)?

Additionally, if the issue persists, you can perform browser troubleshooting by accessing your account through a private or incognito window. You can open this window using Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome, Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge, or Command + Shift + N for Safari. Alternatively, consider switching to a different supported browser to ensure full compatibility and uninterrupted functionality.

Please let us know if you require any additional assistance with this matter. We'll be around to help.
