Wondering why you cant see if someone has viewed a quote like you can with an invoice? would be good to know as sometime you never know if it was received.

That is a great suggestion for a product feature. You are correct, at present Quotes do not have an activity log like Invoices, which shows when a particular document has been viewed by the recipient.

However, I can absolutely see the usefulness of such a feature, so I will suggest this as a new idea to the product development team, to be considered for future releases.

I understand that at present it would be inconvenient as you would not know if the recipient has received it yet, so my apologies for that.
