Can the VAT be displayed line item wise in the invoice

Hi Oppressor. Yes, you can display VAT in each line item on every invoice. If you haven't enabled this feature yet, you can do so by navigating to the TAX section.

To set this up, please follow these steps:

1. Go to All apps > Tax > Overview.
2. Click the Set up tax button.
3. Provide a Tax name and Description.
4. Optional: Add your Business ID No.
5. Set your Tax period start and Filing frequency from the dropdowns.
6. Select your Reporting method (Please check with an accountant if unsure).
7. Enter your Sales rate and/or Purchase rate as needed.
8. If you collect this tax on purchases, select the checkbox and enter a Purchase rate (optional). Then, select the checkbox if your Purchase tax is reclaimable.
9. Click Next and confirm with OK.

Please note that on the printed version of the invoice, the VAT column will only display the tax amount.
