Changing the FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) word depends on where it appears in your invoices or estimates, Abdul.

If you've previously created a custom tax rate with FBR in the name and it appears as a tax label on these sales forms, you can modify this through your sales tax settings.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO account and go to the Tax menu.
  2. Choose the correct tax agency if you have multiple tax agencies.
  3. Select the edit tax dropdown, then select Edit rates.
  4. In the tax rate table, edit the rate you want to change.
  5. In the Edit tax rate window, change the name.
  6. Set the Effective date from which the rate change will take effect.
  7. Click Save.

However, if the FBR word is a part of the tax agency name, appearing on the tax calculation section at the bottom of your invoice or estimate, you can change it in the system, but sales forms will still show the old name.

To show a different tax agency name on your sales forms, you'll need to create a new one. For more details, refer to this article: Edit tax rate in QuickBooks.

Otherwise, if FBR is a custom field you created, you can edit and update your template directly in the invoice or estimate itself. Here's how:

  1. On the upper part of your sales form, select Manage.
  2. Click the Design dropdown.
  3. Hit the Add/Edit option to open the custom form styles menu.
