Hi there, bbuffel. I understand you need a columnar Trial Balance (TB) rather than the General Ledger (GL) format. Please note that the QuickBooks Online (QBO) TB report serves as a snapshot of final balances as of a selected date, and therefore doesn't natively provide the movement columns you are looking for.

Since you want to avoid the GL format, the best workaround is to run two separate TB reports. One for your opening date and one for your closing date. Export both to Excel and place them side by side. This helps you easily calculate the debit and credit movements, providing the exact columnar layout you need without the unnecessary details of a General Ledger.

To export your reports, simply click the Export icon next to the Print icon on the TB report page.
