Hi, when I received a payment from customer QB generate a receipt not a sales receipt. I want customize this receipt but this document not available on template list.

Welcome, and thank you for asking about turning a receipt into a sales receipt. Let me share information about it. 

A sales receipt is given to a customer when they make a payment at the time of sale, while a receipt is created when there’s an invoice payment.

An invoice and a sales receipt can’t be used interchangeably, making us unable to convert the receipt into a sales receipt.

You can print or email the receipt to your customer to inform them that you received their payment and updated their balance of their account. You can also send them a Statement.
