How can I delete inventory

While QuickBooks doesn't have an option to permanently delete inventory items, you can easily hide them by making them inactive.
 

Steps to make an inventory item inactive:
 

1. Go to Settings (Gear icon) and select Products and services.
2. Find the test inventory item you want to remove.
3. In the Action column, click the dropdown arrow next to Edit and select Make inactive.
    

This keeps your active lists completely clean while safely preserving the system's background data.
