How do I enter a refund from a customer for the legal fees they provided?

Recording customer refund in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a breeze, @sengrrr7-gmail-c. I'm here to guide you throughout the process, 

To do so, you can simply use the Refund receipts feature to record the refund for a service. Here's how:

1. In your QBO account, select the + New button.
2. Next, click the Refund receipt feature.
3. Then, in the Customer dropdown pick the  customer you want to refund.
4. From the Refund From field, then select the bank you deposited the payment for the invoice.
5. Input the services the customer returned in the Product/Service column.
6. Ensure to fill in the date, quantity, rate, amount, Tax, and other fields accordingly.
7. Once done, select Save and close.
