How do I "lock " invoices - meaning that once they have been emailed, changes or edit will be reflecting on the new invoice being sent ?

At this time, the option to lock invoices is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). QBO wants to ensure the system and your customer have the same record of what you have created and edited.

However, QBO allows you to close your books and prevent changes to past transactions before filing your taxes.
