How to add the Tax number while creating new Customer from the mobile application?

The QuickBooks Online mobile app features a simplified customer form, so the Sales tax registration field isn't available. However, you can easily add this tax number by logging into the web version. Here’s how:
 

  1. In the All apps section, navigate to Customer Hub and select Customers & leads.
  2. Find and click the customer you recently created, then hit Edit.
  3. Scroll down to the Additional info section and look for the Sales tax registration field.
  4. Enter the number or code there, then Save.


If you're creating a new customer on the web, the same section will be available during setup.
