QuickBooks Online has the Customer Type option to group customers into different segments. However, the feature is currently unavailable to the global version.
I'd recommend sending a feature request to our developers' team. Let me guide you with these steps:
Go to the Gear icon on the upper right-hand.
Select the Feedback button.
Type ''customer type option'' in the field and then click Next.
