I am suddenly unable to close an estimate, the field has disappeared.

Hi, Christian. You can no longer manually change an estimate’s status to Closed in QuickBooks Online. An estimate is automatically closed once it’s converted to an invoice.

You can update the status of an open estimate from Pending to Accepted, Converted, or Declined.

After conversion, you can add more details to the invoice and record the payment.
