We can download your foreign currency account in its original currency by navigating to the Chart of Accounts, running a report, customizing the columns, and enabling the Foreign Amount option to display the original currency.
Please note that when exporting a report, QBO typically shows the Foreign Amount column as plain numerical values. In such cases, you can use the Currency column in Excel to identify the corresponding currency symbols.
Here’s how to export the account:
Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
Find the foreign currency account you need.
In the Action column, click the dropdown arrow next to View register and choose Run report.
Select Customize and tick the Foreign Amount in the column options.
The original currency will appear under the Foreign Amount column.
Click Export to save the report.
Alternatively, if you want to view the original currency without adjusting symbols as required in Excel, you can print the report directly.
Feel free to reply or post another question in the forum if you need anything else.
