A recurring invoice is caused by a recurring invoice template. We need to pause or delete it to stop QuickBooks from generating invoices each month. I'll guide you through the steps.

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Recurring Transactions.
  3. Click the down-arrow beside Edit on the template that has a monthly interval.
  4. Choose pause or Delete.
