Question

Is there a work around? I want to add my Panama bank but the system is rejecting as an alternate currency, but Panama is a USD economy, the banks use Dollars.

Hello there, sjhbajc. Instead of linking your bank account directly, try creating the account manually. Go to the Gear icon > Chart of accounts > New account. Fill in the necessary information and click Save. This will bypass the automatic currency detection that is causing the rejection.

Once set up, log in to your bank's online portal and download your transactions as a CSV file. Then manually upload the transactions into QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks is rejecting the connection because it automatically assigns currency based on the bank's location rather than the actual currency used. By manually creating the account and uploading the transactions yourself, you gain full control over how QuickBooks handles it.
