Question

My bank accounts constantly disconnect on this useless platform and now it won't match receipts even though I can see them. Is anyone else out of energy paying for this?

Hello there, Paddycrosse-gmai,

I can see the effort you’ve invested in addressing the disconnections and receipt matching concerns. It's clear you’re committed to making things work seamlessly, and we’re here to help ensure the service meets your expectations. Let’s work together to get this resolved.

Some banks require reconnecting every 90 days for security, while others only need updates every 18 months. For more details, see the article Fix Error 350. To help us pinpoint the issue, could you share a few details with us:

  • The name of the bank you’re using
  • Any specific error message you’ve received
  • How often does your account disconnects

While we investigate, please check your bank’s website directly. If you can log in successfully, that’s a good sign that there are no major issues on your end. While you’re there:

  1. Check for any messages, notifications, or alerts from your bank.
  2. Watch for any display issues while navigating. These can sometimes prevent QuickBooks from downloading transactions.
  3. Note any security updates or notifications that might impact integrations like QuickBooks Online.

To ensure receipts match correctly in QuickBooks Online (QBO), they must first be reviewed and recorded as QBO uses specific parameters to align transactions, for detailed steps, check out this guide: Match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. If matching issues persist after reviewing, could you share the specific error message? You can try signing out and back in, as this often resolves minor glitches.

If you need to categorize transactions quickly or prefer an alternative, you can manually upload your bank transactions into QuickBooks. Most banks offer downloads in .csv, .qbo, .ofx, or .txt formats, which you can import directly into QBO. This optional method is a fast workaround if connection issues persist.
