Hi, @info2368. This inconsistency typically occurs because QuickBooks Online (QBO) pulls address data from three distinct locations. If these aren't synchronized, the system may switch between the old and new address depending on how the invoice is generated.

To resolve this issue permanently, please align your company data fields. QuickBooks Online (QBO) maintains two separate address fields. If one is updated and the other isn't, you’ll see inconsistent results. To verify this, go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings. In the Company section, click on Edit to change your address. Check that both the Company address (customer-facing) and the Legal address (tax-facing) are identical.

Then, update your customization format (template). Since you mentioned using a custom format, the old address might be stuck in the template's specific header settings.

To update:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Find the template you use for invoices and hit Edit.
  3. Click the Content tab and select the Header (the top section of the preview).

  4. Under the Business address section, uncheck and re-check the address box to force the template to refresh and pull the new data from your Company Settings.
  5. Done after.

If the settings look correct but the old address still appears, your browser is likely retrieving a cached version of the page to save time. Test first by refreshing your QBO page or signing out and signing back in.

You can also open a private browser or incognito mode and create an invoice. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)

If the address looks perfect in a private window, it’s a clear sign that clearing your regular browser’s cache will fix the problem in your standard browser. You can also try a different supported browser for better performance.

While browser data can occasionally persist, these steps usually resolve the conflict. Please let me know if this works for you. If you need help with other QuickBooks tasks, don't hesitate to ask.
