Question

When we send sales invoices by email, quickbooks adds quickbooks@notification.intuit.com to our company name. Can we remove this extra text ?

At this time, it's not possible to remove the default email address displayed next to your company name on sent invoices, fgt2.


We want to keep you informed about the status of invoices sent to your customers. Our system will notify you when an invoice has been sent, read, or paid. These updates are delivered to the email address listed under the Customer contact info in your Account and settings.
 

  1. Click Settings (gear icon) in the upper-right corner, then select Account and settings.
  2. Navigate to the Company tab and locate the Customer contact info section.
  3. Click Edit next to the Customer email field to make changes, if necessary.
  4. Click Save and then Done.

 

As an alternative, you can link your Gmail account. This will allow your Gmail address to appear on invoices sent to customers instead of the default email. For more information, refer to this article: Send an invoice to a customer.

 

If you'd like to request the option to remove or customize the default email, you can share this idea directly with our product development team by providing feedback. Your input is highly valuable and can help improve the system to better suit your business needs. Here's how:
 

  1. Click Settings (gear icon) in the upper-right corner.
  2. Under the PROFILE section, select Feedback.
  3. Enter your suggestions or requests in the Feedback box.
  4. Click Next to submit your input.
