Question

where is the feature, in QB Self Employed, in the Invoice tab, that allowed me to retrieve past invoices, for specific clients. That feature has disappeared?

At the top of my Invoice page, there is a STATUS box and a DATE box and there used to be a Clients NAME box. I could put a customers' name and all of their past invoices, would appear. My laptop version is not giving me this option any longer. Why did this feature disappear? I use it and need it

Hi there, @Incrediblupoolservice1. The customer or client name box, which used to let you type in the client's name, is no longer available in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). This change is part of the update to the invoice layout.

However, you can still access a customer's past invoices by using the Customer filter. While you can no longer type in a name, the filter now lists all customers alphabetically, making it easier to scroll through and select the one you need. Once you've filtered the customer, you can also use the Date filter to narrow down their older invoices.
