The past transactions will still remain on the account even if they are from years ago. One possible reason for this unusual behavior is due to accumulated temporary internet files in the browser. You'll want to use an incognito window and check it from there.
Here are some of the keyboard shortcuts:
Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
The easiest way to review them is by clicking the Sales menu, select Invoices, and make sure that the Date is set correctly.
