QuickBooks Online does not have a built-in feature to set a unit of measure (UOM) for inventory items, sickaporean.

You'll want to integrate a third-party inventory management app in QBO. There are apps in the App Store that are specifically designed to handle complex inventory needs, including multiple units of measure and conversions.

Here's how to find an accredited and approved app in QBO:

  1. Go to the Apps menu on the left, then proceed to the Find apps tab.
  2. Use the search bar to look for "unit of measure" or "inventory management."
  3. You can browse and compare different apps based on their features, pricing, and user reviews to find one that best fits your business needs.

Many of these apps will sync your inventory data with QBO, enabling you to manage conversions and units within the app while maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks.

@sickaporean

You need a 3rd party app to sync with QBO. Are you a wholesaler, retailer or manufacturer?
