QuickBooks Online International version like South Africa is designed for record keeping purposes and doesn't have payroll feature. That said, processing staff payslips is not yet possible.
In the meantime, you'll want to record payroll transactions using journal entries. You can follow the steps outlined below:
Go to the Plus Sign Icon.
Select Journal Entry
Under Date, select the payroll payments date.
Enter the Debit and Credit accounts.
Click Make Recurring.
Enter a memorable Template Name and set Template Type to Unscheduled.
