How do I update my banking transactions

My banking page updates the amounts but does not show the transactions?

I'm here to help you successfully update your account, sandy.

 

Once you connect a bank account to online banking, QuickBooks Online automatically downloads transactions every night. Since some are missing, I recommend refreshing the connection to get the latest available data.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping and then select Transactions.
  2. Select Bank transactions.
  3. Click Update.
  4. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  5. After that, click Continue update.

Aside from that, we can also manually upload the bank transactions to the program.

 

Once done, let's go to the For Review tab. From there, we can edit, assign, and categorize the transactions. It helps you ensure your financial records are correct. To learn more about this process, check out this article: Categorising Bank Data
