How to edit budget name

If you need to modify a budget name, you can do so on the Budget page in QBO. To do that:

1. Go to Budgets.
2. Locate the budget and click the dropdown icon under the Action column.
3. Select Edit.
4. In the Name field at the upper-left corner of the page, rename the budget.
5. Hit Save.

Moreover, you can use classes to represent meaningful segments in your company, like store departments. Then, create a budget by class based on Profit and Loss from the last financial year.
