In QB online, can I link single time activity as an expenses and not as sales?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), linking your single-time activity as an expense is unavailable. With that, I suggest submitting Feedback regarding this matter. Rest assured that our Product Development team will thoroughly assess the potential of adding this feature to meet your business needs.

To send a feature recommendation, you can follow the steps below:

1. Click the Gear icon at the top, then tap Feedback.
2. Indicate your comments or suggestions.
3. Then select Next to submit Feedback.

In the meantime, you can manually enter the hours in your bills to track the hours of your temporary staff as an expense.

Moreover, you can also utilize the Find Apps feature of QBO. You can find apps to link your single-time activity to an expense and then integrate the app to QBO.

Additionally, to get a hold of how your business is doing, you can create reports based on your business need: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.
