The ability to bring transactions depends on what HSBC supports for each account, Debbi.

If HSBC doesn’t provide feeds for that one (1) account, we're unable to change that limitation.

Let’s start by checking the connection for that account in QuickBooks. Sometimes, the issue can be as simple as the connection being turned off or temporarily interrupted. If you are already sure feeds aren’t supported, we can still ensure your financial records are up-to-date by manually uploading them into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To upload the transactions to QBO:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions tab and select Bank transactions
  2. Locate and click on the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions.
  3. Click the Link account ▼ dropdown and then choose Upload transactions.
  4. Select either the Drag and drop or select files to locate and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, click on Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to match the columns from the file with the appropriate fields in QuickBooks. Then, click on Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you want to import, and click on Continue.
  8. Confirm by selecting Yes, then click on Done to complete the process.
