You can create a supplier credit to apply the discount, dovegrovebirr.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can access the Supplier credit feature by clicking the +New button. Here's how:
Go to the +New button.
Under Suppliers, select Supplier credit.
Choose the supplier from the drop-down arrow.
Enter the other information needed.
Hit Save and close.
Once done, you can use it as a discount when paying your bills. I'll guide you on how to do it.
Go to the +New button.
Under Suppliers, select Pay Bills.
Select a bill transaction.
Supplier credits apply under the Credit Applied column.
The remaining amount to pay will show in the Payment field.
Click Save and close.
Alternatively, list the discount as a line item on the bill under an income account and enter it as a negative number to reduce the amount owed.
