How to find out total closing value?

Can you share with me what are you trying to refer with the total closing value?

If you're referring to closing stock and how to view it, you can run the Balance Sheet report to get its total ending value for the year. Just make sure that its date is set to the last year. 

Here's how:
 

1. Go to Reports and search for the Balance Sheet report.
2. Open the report, then filter its date to Last Year to date.

You can also customise this report to easily view the details that matter the most to you.
