I have reported that HSBC Business (Hong Kong) bank feeds are not pulling transactions correctly despite showing a successful connection. Has the issue been fixed?

Each time I click "Update" in the bank transactions section, QBO shows that it’s connected and brings me to a “Done” page—but no new transactions are pulled in. I’ve also tried editing and re-entering my login credentials (which are correct), and QBO again shows a successful connection, but still no new data appears. I’ve contacted the online help desk multiple times, but so far I’ve only been told that the engineers are looking into it. I only knew that 10+ users have also been affected and are attached to the same investigation and typically, such issues are resolved within 36–48 hours. Now it seems the issue has not been fixed yet.

Not sure if you received the email from QBO yesterday but they are ending their bank feed completely with HSBC Hong Kong.  As it happens HSBC were meeting me just 3 hours later so I passed a copy of the email to them.  They said they would give it to their IT department to try and see if there is anything that can be done.  

 

Since this issue has been unresolved for over a year now, I don't have much hope.  At the moment we are downloading csvs each day for our accounts and uploading to QBO, if you or I discover an easier way then perhaps we can share?
