If i receive a start up grant how do i put this on my qb as it is not a sale but it is income

Welcome to the Community. Let me help you record grants in QuickBooks Online.

You can use the Bank deposit option to enter grants you received. However, I recommend consulting an accountant for expert advice about the account best to use during the process.

Here's how:

1. Click the + New option in the upper-left corner.
2. Select Bank deposit below Other. 
3. Choose an account.
4. Enter the necessary information.
5. Hit Save and close.
